School & District Agreement

1. Who This Covers

This page applies to any SprintCalc license issued to a middle school, high school, school district, or athletic department — including the athletic director (AD) or other staff member acting on the School's behalf.

An individual coach buying the $15 lifetime unlock for personal use is covered by the general Terms of Service, not this page.

2. What SprintCalc Provides

A School License grants full Pro access to the SprintCalc web app on the devices activated with the School's code, including:

• Percentage-based interval targets calculated from a race time
• Complete workout suggestions, rep schemes, rest, and coaching notes
• Season-phase planning (early season, mid-season, championship week)
• Team dashboard, roster management, printable workout summaries, and race-day predictions
• Saved calculations and workout history on each device

Unlimited coaches and unlimited athletes. There are no per-seat fees — every coach in the program is included.

Coaches do not need an account or a login. Access is bound to the device that activates the code. The free calculator tier remains available to everyone at no cost.

3. What the School / Athletic Director Receives

• One license code for the program, issued to the contact on file
• An email notice the first time a coach activates the code, and on each new activation, so the AD can see how many coaches are using it
• Visibility into how many device activations have been used against the included limit
• The right to request that a code be revoked and reissued at any time

A 48-hour pass is available for evaluation before purchase. It grants Pro access on one device for 48 hours from the moment of activation.

4. Device Activations

Each School License includes a set number of device activations (20 by default). Activations are counted per device, not per coach.

The included number is a guide, not a cutoff. If a program exceeds it, coaches are not locked out — the School's contact is notified so the license can be adjusted. A device that has already activated the code reclaims its existing activation when the coach returns, so clearing a browser or reinstalling does not use up an additional activation.

5. Pricing, Payment & Procurement

School License: $99 per school, per year. District License: $199 per district, per year, for multi-school programs. Every coach is included at no additional cost.

How to pay. We accept card, check, ACH / bank transfer, and purchase orders — we work with your school's procurement process and handle the PO paperwork. Full payment instructions are sent privately with your invoice once your quote is confirmed. Please include the school or district name with your payment so we can match it to your order.

Vendor approval first, W-9 before any order. The district must approve SprintCalc as a vendor before any order can be placed. Once that approval is in place, a completed IRS Form W-9 is prepared and sent to the School's business office — before any order, purchase order, invoice, or payment is processed — so your finance department has our taxpayer information on file from the start. If you need it sooner, just ask and we'll send it right away.

No automatic renewal. SprintCalc does not store a School's payment method and will never auto-charge an account. Each term is a separate order placed by the School.

Prices exclude applicable taxes and fees. The School is responsible for any sales, use, or similar taxes, except taxes on our income. Licenses are issued and activated once the order is confirmed, or on an agreed pilot basis.

The $15 individual lifetime unlock is a separate personal purchase and is not part of a School License.

6. Term, Renewal & Expiration

School and district licenses run for the term stated on the quote or invoice — typically one year from issuance. The expiration date is set on the license itself.

When the term ends, Pro access on activated devices ends and the free calculator remains available. Renewal is not automatic: the School places a new order when it wishes to continue. We will make a reasonable effort to remind the contact before expiration.

7. Authorized Users & Acceptable Use

The School may share its code with its own coaches and athletic staff. The code is confidential — please don't post it publicly or on social media.

Codes may not be resold, sublicensed, or shared with schools or districts outside the license. If you believe a code has been shared outside your program, contact us and we will revoke it and issue a replacement.

When a coach leaves the program, the School may ask them to log off the device (Settings → Log Off), which releases that device's activation for another coach. Logging off removes only the license from the device — it does not delete saved history or roster data, which the coach can clear manually at any time.

8. Student Data & Privacy

SprintCalc does not create student accounts, does not require student names or education records, and does not collect student data in order to operate. Coaches enter a race time and receive training paces — nothing more is needed.

The roster and saved-history features store their data locally in the coach's browser on that device. That data is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Because the App is not designed to collect student education records, it should not be used as a system of record for student information. Please do not enter grades, IEPs, disciplinary records, or other protected student records into the App.

We do not sell data and we do not use student data for advertising. Each School remains responsible for its own compliance determinations — including FERPA, COPPA, and applicable state student-privacy laws — and for how its staff use the App. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Refunds, Cancellations & Non-Appropriation

If the School is not satisfied with the license, contact us within 30 days of the license start and we will cancel it and refund the amount paid.

If funds are not appropriated for a renewal, the School may simply decline to renew. There is no cancellation fee and no penalty for non-renewal.

Refunds for the individual $15 lifetime unlock are handled under the general Terms of Service.

10. Support & Service Availability

Support is available at support@sprintcalcspeed.com. We aim to answer school and district inquiries promptly, and we are happy to walk your staff through setup.

We work to keep the App available, but it is provided "as is" and "as available" without an uptime guarantee. Scheduled maintenance may briefly interrupt access, and we aim to announce it in advance.

11. No Warranty; Limitation of Liability

All calculated times and workout suggestions are mathematical estimates. SprintCalc makes no guarantee regarding performance, safety, or accuracy. See the Terms of Service and the Disclaimer.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability under a School or District License is limited to the amount paid for the then-current term.

12. Independent Contractor; No Endorsement

SprintCalc is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any school, school district, state athletic association, or the NFHS.

Nothing in this Agreement creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between SprintCalc and the School.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Texas.

14. Modifications

We may update this page from time to time. Material changes apply to licenses issued or renewed after the change, and we will update the date at the top of this page.
