SprintCalc ("we", "our", "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
2. Information We Collect
Account Data: When you create an account, we store your email address and name. You may sign in using email/password or third-party OAuth providers (Google, Microsoft, Facebook, or Apple). We receive your email and basic profile information from these providers upon login.
User-Entered Data: Times, distances, and percentages you enter are used to generate training calculations. If you have Pro access, your saved calculations, athlete rosters, coach notes, and team workouts are stored securely in our cloud database and linked to your account.
Payment Data: When you purchase Pro access, payment is processed securely through PayPal. We receive your payment email and transaction ID from PayPal to verify and grant your access. We do not store your credit card or financial information — PayPal handles all payment details.
Usage Data: The App may collect anonymous usage data such as feature interactions and session frequency through the Base44 platform infrastructure. This data is used to improve the App experience and is not linked to personally identifiable information.
3. Cookies & Tracking
As a web-based application, SprintCalc may use cookies or local storage to save your preferences (such as your accepted terms status and previously entered base times). These are stored on your device and are not transmitted to external advertising networks.
The underlying Base44 platform may collect standard web analytics data. Please review Base44's privacy policy for more details on platform-level data handling.
4. Analytics
We may use analytics tools to understand how the App is used in aggregate (e.g., which features are most popular). This data is anonymized and used solely to improve the App. No personally identifiable information is collected for analytics purposes.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared only as required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.
6. Data Deletion
You may delete your saved data at any time within the App. Please be aware that deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. We recommend saving important training times elsewhere before deleting.
7. Children's Privacy
SprintCalc is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any updated policy.
9. EU Users & GDPR
If you are located in the European Union, you may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you.
