1. Acceptance of Terms

By using SprintCalc ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SprintCalc is a track and field interval training calculator. It provides estimated training times based on user-entered performance data and selected effort percentages. The App is intended for informational and educational purposes only.

3. No Medical or Professional Advice

The information and calculations provided by SprintCalc do not constitute medical, athletic, or professional coaching advice. Always consult a qualified coach, trainer, or physician before beginning or modifying any training program. You assume full responsibility for how you use the results.

4. No Coaching Relationship

Use of SprintCalc does not create a coaching relationship, athlete-coach relationship, or any professional relationship between the user and the developer. The App provides general, automated suggestions only. No personalized coaching, instruction, or guidance is provided or implied.

5. No Guarantees of Safety or Performance

SprintCalc makes no guarantees regarding the safety or effectiveness of any suggested workout or calculated training target. Training suggestions are generic and may not be suitable for all individuals. Results will vary based on individual fitness, health status, and other factors outside the App's scope.

6. Accuracy Disclaimer

All calculated times are mathematical estimates based on linear velocity models. Real-world performance is affected by many variables including but not limited to fatigue, weather, surface, technique, and individual physiology. SprintCalc makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy or applicability of any calculated result.

7. Assumption of Risk

Athletic training involves inherent physical risks. By using this App, you acknowledge and accept those risks. SprintCalc, its developers, and affiliates are not liable for any injury, illness, or other harm that may result from training based on the App's output.

8. Data Deletion

If you choose to delete your account or saved data within the App, please note that all saved times, preferences, and history will be permanently erased and cannot be recovered. Make sure to export or record any data you wish to keep before deletion.

9. App Name & Trademark

The name "SprintCalc" is used for this application. Users are advised to verify independently that any training program name they associate with this tool does not infringe on existing trademarks. We recommend searching your app or program name before widespread use to avoid potential trademark conflicts.

10. No Warranty

This App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the results obtained will be accurate or reliable for any particular purpose.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Texas.

12. Payment & Lifetime Access

Free Access: The core SprintCalc calculator remains free to use indefinitely with no payment required.

Free Trial: New users may be eligible for a complimentary 3-day trial of SprintCalc Pro. The trial begins when you activate it and expires automatically 72 hours later — no payment information is required. At the end of the trial period, Pro access is removed unless you purchase the lifetime unlock. Each user is limited to one trial per account.

Pro Features (One-Time Payment): SprintCalc Pro features are available via a one-time payment of $15.00 USD. This is a lifetime unlock — not a subscription. There are no recurring charges, no renewals, and no cancellations.

Payment Processing: Payments are securely processed through PayPal. By completing a purchase, you grant lifetime access to Pro features for the account associated with your payment email.

Refunds: Refund requests may be submitted within 7 days of purchase if you experience technical issues or are not satisfied. To request a refund, contact us at brjm1118@gmail.com with your account email and reason for the request. Refunds are granted at our discretion.

Account Transfer: Pro access is tied to the email used at purchase. If you need access transferred to a different email, contact support with proof of purchase.

13. NFHS Standards

SprintCalc's training calculations and workout suggestions are built around official NFHS (National Federation of State High School Associations) track & field guidelines for middle and high school athletes. The App supports both outdoor and indoor season standards, including applicable event distances and rules. While these standards inform the App's calculations, SprintCalc is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NFHS. Coaches should always verify compliance with their state and local athletic association rules.

14. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
